The End of Innocence

Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 18:10 NKJV

It seems that God loves children so much that their angels have special access to Him. Their innocence is a gift from God and should be protected for as long as possible. It should therefore be no surprise that when we see an attack on children and their innocence, we can know that Satan is behind it, in all the ways it manifests.

It is not just the demonic actions of a man knifing down children in a park, or after-school satan club which are pretty obvious in their animosity to God, it is also the school board pushing the curriculum that sexualises children, the author and illustrator of graphic sexual content aimed specifically at children, the politicians endorsing and, in some cases, enforcing policy that teaches this debased content at schools and stocking the children section of libraries with these books.

God entrusted children to their parents, not to governments. It is a parent’s role to teach their children moral values. It is a parent who gets to decide when and what they want to teach their children about sex. It is a parent’s responsibility to make medical decisions for their children. It is a parent’s God-given right. Governments undermining the authority and responsibility that God placed on parents, have no regard for God. But the truth is that most politicians don’t believe in God. At least not the one true God of the Bible. Some may be well aware that they are serving a different god. Most are probably blissfully unaware that appointing yourself as god, is just another way of serving Satan. The point is, when it comes to children, take special care. God warned that if someone causes anyone not yet strong in their faith in Jesus to stumble, things will end badly for them if they don’t come to repentance. And when it comes to children who are not yet able to process and reason sufficiently to make sense of the madness being taught, they are easily confused and influenced by the things they’re exposed to. So I would take this warning from God very seriously when it comes to them.

If you read this and were deceived yourself. If you bought into the lies that have become the popular narrative of the day. And if you somehow believed that all of the things done to confuse and hurt children were somehow well-intentioned and helpful, it is not too late. Allow God to lift that veil of deceit from your mind by accepting Jesus as your one and only Lord and Saviour. His Holy Spirit will awaken your mind to The Truth. Because, there is only one truth. There is no ‘your truth’ and ‘my truth’. Just a few years back, we would talk about ‘your perception’ and ‘my perception’. Because that is accurate – we might see things differently, but there is only one truth. Through misuse and reinterpretation, truth has lost its meaning in our culture. It is one of many words that in recent years suffered this fate. But it all plays into the deception that will continue to increase until discernment will become completely impossible if your mind is not protected by the Spirit of God. You do not want this fate. I do not wish that on anyone. So make the right choice, while you are still able to. Don’t be left behind after the Rapture of the church of Christ, after which this world will be judged by God for all the evil it embraced. God does not want this for you. But the choice is yours.

And whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.
